La petite, mais longue, et complexe, histoire de la francophonie albertaine, version po\u00e9tique et chant\u00e9e<\/em><\/p>\n

Dans le cadre des c\u00e9l\u00e9brations du 100e anniversaire de l\u2019ACFA, la Cit\u00e9 des Rocheuses et FrancoMusik Alberta sont fi\u00e8res de vous pr\u00e9senter, le 18 septembre 2026, la grande premi\u00e8re de Francophonique.<\/p>\n

Venez vivre une exp\u00e9rience immersive qui c\u00e9l\u00e8bre l\u2019histoire, la m\u00e9moire et l\u2019identit\u00e9 franco-albertaines, \u00e0 la rencontre du th\u00e9\u00e2tre, de la musique et des r\u00e9cits humains. Sur sc\u00e8ne, trois com\u00e9diens et quatre musiciens donnent vie aux moments marquants de notre parcours collectif. Autour d\u2019eux, dans une sc\u00e9nographie \u00e9pur\u00e9e, les chansons originales interpr\u00e9t\u00e9es en direct et les images d\u2019archives projet\u00e9es sur grand \u00e9cran se r\u00e9pondent : le pass\u00e9 et le pr\u00e9sent dialoguent, et les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations se reconnaissent.<\/p>\n

Ni le\u00e7on, ni nostalgie : un spectacle \u00e0 hauteur d\u2019humain, dr\u00f4le et bouleversant, qui se vit comme des retrouvailles pour les francophones et comme une d\u00e9couverte pour tous les autres (en fran\u00e7ais, avec traduction anglaise \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cran). On en sort avec une certitude, celle de Jim Corcoran : \u00ab Une langue vivante est une langue chant\u00e9e. \u00bb<\/p>\n

The Small, Yet Long and Complex Story of Alberta\u2019s Francophonie \u2014 Told Through Poetry and Song<\/h3>\n

As part of the ACFA\u2019s 100th anniversary celebrations, La Cit\u00e9 des Rocheuses and FrancoMusik Alberta are proud to present the world premiere of Francophonique<\/strong> on September 18, 2026.<\/p>\n

Join us for an immersive experience celebrating the history, memory, and identity of Alberta\u2019s Francophone community through a unique blend of theatre, music, and human stories. On stage, three actors and four musicians bring to life the defining moments of our collective journey. In a minimalist setting, original songs performed live interact with archival images projected on a large screen, creating a dialogue between past and present where generations recognize themselves in a shared story.<\/p>\n

Neither a history lesson nor an exercise in nostalgia, this deeply human production is by turns funny, moving, and inspiring. It feels like a reunion for Francophones and a discovery for everyone else. The performance is presented in French, with English surtitles.<\/p>\n

As Canadian singer-songwriter Jim Corcoran once said: \u201cA living language is a language that is sung.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
